Information for Foreign Patients

Foreign patients enrolled in Japan’s public health insurance system

Eligibility: Foreign nationals staying long-term (3 months or more) for study, work, etc., and enrolled in Japanese health insurance.

Medical Fees

If you have Japanese health insurance, fees will be charged in accordance with the Japanese health insurance system.

Payment Methods

Cash (Japanese yen), credit card, debit card
※Only single (lump-sum) payment is accepted.

Foreign patients NOT enrolled in Japan’s public health insurance system (including short-term visitors)

Eligibility: Foreign nationals staying in Japan who are injured or suddenly become ill.

Medical Fees

If you do not have valid Japanese health insurance, medical fees will be charged at 30 yen per point under the Japanese medical fee system.
For meals during hospitalization, a fee equivalent to 300% of the standard meal charge will be billed.

If you visit Japan for medical purposes and wish to receive treatment at our hospital

Patients residing overseas are required to use a medical coordination company.

Patients residing overseas who wish to receive treatment at our hospital are, in principle, required to contact us through a specialized medical coordination company to ensure safe and secure medical care. Our hospital has business partnerships with the companies listed below. The Global Health Care Center coordinates acceptance with these companies. Patients are requested to first consult one of the partner coordination companies. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure smooth medical care and treatment. Please note that coordination fees are to be borne by the patient.
