The Endoscopy Department offers both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy with double balloon catheter, endoscopic ultrasoundsonography (EUS), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic lithotripsy. In addition, we offer high resolution esophageal manometry with impedance. We are also conducting Clinical Research for Image Enhanced Endoscopy with flexible spectral imaging color enhancement (FICE). The number of EGDs, colonoscopies and ERCP performed in 2011 were 6883, 2781 and 718, respectively.

- Gastrointestinal neoplasms (e.g., esophageal, gastric and early colon cancers)
- Gastric ulcers
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus
- Biliary neoplasms (e.g., bile duct obstruction, bile duct strictures, bile duct tumors)
- Benign biliary diseases (e.g., bile duct stones)
- Inflammatory bowel diseases
- Intestinal disorders
- Benign and malignant pancreatic neoplasms and cysts
- Benign pancreatic disease such as chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis
