On November 4, 2022, Chiba University Hospital received accreditation for meeting a standard (general hospital 3) set by the Japan Council for Quality Health Care, a third-party body that evaluates the performance of medical institutions. The hospital had applied for this accreditation with the goal of improving its quality and safety in medical care as an advanced treatment hospital.
The hospital has a philosophy of safeguarding people's dignity while also engaging in advanced medicine and developing clinical medicine and next-generation medical professionals.
